Highlander Club

What is the Highlander Club?

The Highlander Club is an association of alumni, parents and friends committed to working together in order to strengthen and advance Gordon College Athletics. Besides being able to designate their financial support specifically for the athletics program, the members serve as ambassadors for the College, identifying and referring prospective student-athletes. Through special events such as the Hall of Honor and Highlander Golf Tournament, Highlander Club members stay in touch with athletes and coaches, keeping their fingers on the pulse of Gordon Athletics. Finally, Highlanders know the importance of praying for athletes and team, and embrace the building of Christian character through athletic competition.

Why join?

As a member of the Highlander Club, you have the opportunity to play vital role helping our student-athletes enjoy the highest quality intercollegiate experience possible. While our programs have enjoyed success, costs associated with running athletic programs have risen. New facilities, including the Brigham Athletic Complex and the 1,500 spectator seating capacity, have been made possible in part from generous Highlander Club donors. The continuation of new facilities and latest equipment for our athletes is, however, competing with other College priorities. The Fighting Scots need your support in building programs and facilities equal to the enthusiasm and ability of our student-athletes.

Giving Impact

Gifts to the Highlander Club have led to program enhancements such as:
  • Increased department staffing
  • Spring training trips to Florida, Maryland, South Carolina, California, and other destinations
  • Equipment purchases

The Fund

The Highlander Club has been a great source of assistance to the Athletic Department and the College since its inception in 2003. Highlanders provide the following:
  • Financial assistance to the Athletic Department
  • Identification of prospective student-athletes who are academically and spiritually qualified to contribute to the Gordon College Athletic Department mission
  • Help connect alumni athletes and friends of the Fighting Scots and Warriors (Barrington College) athletic programs
