Junior midfielder Andy Guthrie (Beaver Falls, Pa.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week for his part in helping lead the Scots to yet another perfect 2-0-0 week.

Guthrie fired home the game-winner off a free kick in the 74^th minute to lift the Scots to a 1-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over the Nor'easters of the University of New England on Wednesday last week. He also played a critical role in the midfield in Gordon's narrow 1-0 defeat of CCC foe Roger Williams on Saturday.

So far this season Guthrie has tallied three goals and three assists and started in each of the Scots' 17 games.

The men are currently 16-1-0 overall (7-1-0 CCC) with just one game remaining in the regular season.
