Gordon Field Hockey junior forward Brittany Hawkins (Hampstead, N.H.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Fighting Scots to their first CCC title since 2001.

In the Scots' semifinal matchup against Endicott, Hawkins found the cage just 1:50 into the contest to put Gordon up 1-0 in the eventual 2-1 win. Then in the CCC title game, she came out on fire again to score just three minutes into the match for the 1-0 advantage over host UNE and took it upon herself to add an insurance goal with 6:49 remaining to secure Gordon's 3-1 championship victory.

Overall on the season Hawkins has recorded 12 goals (including three game-winners) and six assists.
