The awards continue to roll in for junior forward Courtney Scott (Herndon, Pa.) as she was named to the Third Team All-American list by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Monday morning. Scott is Gordon's fourth All-American awardee under the direction of Head Coach Cory Ward.

Scott broke several records in her first season with Gordon after transferring from Ursinus College after her sophomore season. The talented forward immediately sparked the Scots' attack and helped them to the team's first conference championship since 2001.

She finished with 31 goals and 68 total points to put her in the top five in Division III in both categories. Scott connected on 30 percent of her shots and had four game-winning goals during the Scots' 17-6 campaign.

Her goal total easily beat the previous Gordon record in a season and Scott is already tied in career hat tricks with all-time leading scorer in Gordon history, Megan Benevides.
