Daniel Fauber (Granbury, Texas) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after breaking a pair of school records and turning in several top finishes since returning from the Thanksgiving break.

This past weekend at the Colby-Sawyer Invitational, Fauber eclipsed by four seconds the Gordon mark in the 200 fly previously set by Nate Parsons in 2009 with a 2:01.21. Earlier in the meet he picked up a win in the 400 IM, finishing a commanding 13 seconds ahead of the next best time, and completed his 3-for-3 day by winning the 500 free.

In the Scots' meet at Bridgewater State on December 3, Fauber broke another Parsons record, turning in a 54.78 in the 100 fly while also picking up wins in the 200 IM and 100 free later in the evening.
