As announced by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Gordon College sophomore goalkeeper Cody Greenwald (Albany, N.Y.) has been named the CCC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

Greenwald was a force between the pipes as the Fighting Scots went 1-1 on the week. In a 15-13 road victory over conference foe Salve Regina, he recorded a save percentage of .675, making an impressive 27 saves on the day. Earlier in the week, he booked 12 saves in a tough 12-9 loss to MIT.

Overall on the week, the netminder made 39 saves and recorded a .609 save percentage in 120 minutes of action.
