Senior goalkeeper Danielle Maguire (Braintree, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for helping lead the Fighting Scots to a perfect 3-0 week.

Maguire was a force between the pipes for the Fighting Scots on the week, recording an outstanding 16 saves and causing two turnovers in a 9-8 win over conference foe Roger Williams. Earlier in the week, the senior recorded three saves in the first half of Gordon's 19-8 win over New England College and notched another three saves in 44:24 minutes of action in a 17-7 victory over Worcester State.
