Gordon Women's Lacrosse senior midfielder and captain Anna Blomberg (Simsbury, Conn.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after leading the Fighting Scots to a perfect 2-0 week en route to breaking Gordon's career goals record.

In the Scots' 15-6 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over the University of New England on April 9, Blomberg recorded two goals, one assist, four ground balls, and six draw controls in the pivotal league matchup.

She then followed with a four-goal, two-assist performance against the CCC's Wentworth on April 12, breaking the career goals record on her final tally to eclipse alumna Amy Zerr's '05 previous mark of 200 goals.

The Scots have two regular season conference games remaining before playoffs begin on Saturday, April 26.
