Sophomore attackman Jake Martin (Watertown, Conn.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after recently being named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Lacrosse Second Team.

Martin captured his first All-CCC nod after closing out the regular season as the team's leader and CCC's second leader in goals (49) and points (63). His season was highlighted by a six-goal effort in Gordon's 19-4 win over SUNY Cobleskill on March 1, a three-goal, four-assist performance in a 15-13 win over conference opponent Salve Regina on March 22, and a six-goal, one-assist outing in Gordon's thrilling 17-16 overtime win over the University of New England on April 9. Overall the sophomore standout caused 11 turnovers (second on the team), grabbed 32 ground balls, and netted two game-winners (Salem State on March 8 and Curry on April 1).
