Gordon Softball outfielder Kara Pepper (Wyckoff, N.J.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after garnering All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Second Team honors at the end of the spring season.

Pepper started all but one game for the Scots during her junior campaign and put up a highlight reel of great catches in center field leading to her selection on the CCC Second Team. She led the team and was third in the CCC in batting average with a .461 mark, getting hits in 41 of her 89 official at-bats. The junior also led Gordon in home runs and extra base hits.

Getting it done at the plate and in the field, Pepper made several run-saving grabs for the Scots in 2014, committing just one error at her post in the outfield while recording 53 putouts.
