Senior defenseman Dominic Dantona (Syosset, N.Y.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after being named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Lacrosse Honorable Mention Team at the close of the regular season.

A veteran presence in the Scots' backfield, Dantona was named to the All-CCC squad after helping captain Gordon's 2014 campaign to an 8-8 overall finish. The senior led all Scots in caused turnovers with 19 and was second on the team in ground balls with 54. He also came forward to contribute one goal and two assists to Gordon's attack.

Additionally, he was named to the 2014 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Academic All-Region Team.
