Courtney Scott (Herndon, Pa.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week after making significant contributions to the Fighting Scots' offense in her first games back from injury.

The defending CCC Offensive Player of the Year has led the Scots in goals (4) and total points (11) since returning to the field on October 1. This past week, Scott tallied a goal and an assist in each of Gordon's wins and helped the Scots continue their five-game win streak that has them sitting just a game out of first place in conference. Gordon defeated New England College, 6-0, last Monday before completing a season sweep of Salve Regina on Saturday, 2-0. 

Gordon will have a chance to beat a team who handed them a conference loss the first time through the rotation when they travel to Maine for a heavy-weight matchup at the University of New England on Wednesday.
