Gordon College Athletics

Karli-An Gilbert has been named Gordon Athletics Athlete of the Week after earning two conference awards this week. 

Gilbert was first named Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Fighting Scots to a 2-0 week, including an important 2-1 win over Endicott. Gilbert and the Gordon defense killed 27 penalty corners between their two games, securing the No. 2 seed in the process. 

The sophomore followed up the weekly honor by being named to the All-CCC Second Team for her contributions on defense. Gilbert enters the CCC postseason with two defensive saves to her credit.
