Abbey Mitchell is Gordon's Athlete of the Week after completing her freshman season with the Fighting Scots Cross Country team. The Gordon women finished fifth in the conference this season and Mitchell finished 97th overall, despite dealing with the effects of cystic fibrosis.

The Gordon freshman was recently featured in an article by the Portland Press Herald that recounted her process of becoming a Division III runner. You can find that article here.
