Gordon College Athletics

Senior first baseman Travis Pullen (Las Vegas, Nev.) has been named the Chick-fil-a Athlete of the Week after helping Gordon sweep Western England for the first time in program history this week. 

Pullen brought his average up nearly 70 points after belting two home runs in a doubleheader sweep of the Golden Bears. The senior slugger hit a solo shot in an 8-5 win of game one before destroying a fastball over the fence in left center for a game-winning grand slam in game two. He accounted for five hits and six RBI in a 2-2 week for the Fighting Scots. 

Gordon plays a CCC series at Roger Williams on Thursday before a short Easter break this weekend.
