Sophomore Corrine Previte (Danvers, Mass.) has been named Chick-fil-a Athlete of the Week after a string of impressive performances at regional events.

Previte had two great sprints at the NCAA New England Championships in the 200 and 400-meter races. The sophomore sprinter began the day with a school record 25.52 in the 200, which garnered her a fifth-place finish and All-New England status. She followed it up with a second-place slotting in the 400, finishing just a half second off Colby's Emily Doyle's time. Previte picked up her second All-New England nod with a time of 57.71.

She followed it up with two top 15 finishes at the ECAC Championships in the final week of the season for the Fighting Scots.

In two years, Previte owns or is a part of eight new Gordon records. She broke five individual and one team record during the 2014-15 track season.
