Junior midfielder Caleb Cole (Coatesville, Pa.) has been named Co-Offensive Player of the Week in the Commonwealth Coast Conference after a five-point performance in a win against Salve Regina on Saturday. On Tuesday he earned the distinction of being named Gordon's Athlete of the Week!

Cole only had one goal through five games heading into Gordon's second CCC game of the season, but broke out in a big way against the Seahawks. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year in the conference scored just a minute and 20 seconds into the game when he shook loose of his mark in the middle of the field.

With the game tied in the second half, Cole sent a corner out wide away from the 18-yard box and found Josh Cochran running in from deep in the midfield. Cochran launched ball into the low portion of the webbing for the eventual game-winner. Cole added another score in the waning seconds to put the game on ice.

Cole continued his hot streak on Tuesday as he scored on a header to open up the game against No. 24 Eastern Connecticut. Gordon upset the Warriors 3-1 on the Quad.
