Freshman forward Leanna Tallamy (Wantage, N.J.) has for the fourth time this season been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for her efforts in the Scots' game versus Johnson & Wales on December 31.

In a 41-40 buzzer beater win, Tallamy recorded her third double-double of the season with 14 points and 16 rebounds to help lift Gordon to 5-4 on the year. She also added three blocks, two assists, and a steal in the win.

Overall she is averaging 16.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

Tallamy and the rest of the Scots return to the court for their first game of 2012 on Saturday, January 7 as they host conference foe Eastern Nazarene at 1:00p.m.
