Rookie striker Lexi Potter (South Glens Falls, N.Y.), Gordon's Athlete of the Week, earned her first Commonwealth Coast Conference award of the season on Tuesday afternoon after scoring three goals in three games this week.

The Fighting Scots went 2-1 on the week, only losing a heartbreaker in overtime to Maine Maritime on Monday. Gordon outscored its first two opponents 7-1 with Potter leading the charge by scoring the first goal of each contest against Salem State and Eastern Nazarene.

After only finding the back of the net once in Gordon's first seven games, Potter has scored in four of the last five contests, including three straight. She currently possesses the clear lead in goals and points for the Scots with five and 10 respectively, while accounting for a third of the team's scoring.
