Freshman guard Meghan Foley (Malden, Mass.) is Gordon's Athlete of the Week after being named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Foley averaged 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in a two-game week for the Fighting Scots, recording an impressive 23 points, five rebounds, four, assists, and three steals against Roger Williams on Wednesday (Feb. 8). She followed that performance up with a 13-point, eight-rebound showing against Wentworth on Saturday (Feb. 11).
This marks the second time this season Foley has garnered CCC Rookie honors.
