Gordon College Athletics

Sophomore Olivia McCarrick (Glen Burnie, Md.) was named the Gordon Athlete of the Week on Tuesday after a big time performance against Mount Holyoke in the home opener on Saturday. 

McCarrick scored three times in the first half and four times in total. She was a major force behind Gordon going on a 5-0 run to end the game to spur the Fighting Scots on to a 10-5 victory over the Lyons. McCarrick also assisted on two goals in the game to take the team lead in points after one week. 

She was Gordon's top returning scorer from last season.
