Eric Demers is Gordon's Athlete of the Week after being named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 11-17.

Demers led Gordon to a 2-0 record on the week as he averaged 27.5 points, 2.5 steals, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He scored 24 points and grabbed three rebounds in the Fighting Scots 88-80 win against Johnson & Wales. He followed that up by making a career-high 12 shots and scoring a career-high 31points in 26 minutes of action in Gordon's 89-62 win over Emerson.
