Freshman forward Leanna Tallamy (Wantage, N.J.) continued her reign over Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) newcomers this week, earning the CCC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week title for the seventh time this season.

Despite a trio of losses for the Fighting Scots, Tallamy registered a trio of double-doubles against CCC opponents, recording 29 points, 11 rebounds in a narrow home loss to Roger Williams on Tuesday, 11 points and 12 rebounds against CCC leader University of New England on Thursday, and 24 points and a remarkable 16 boards to close out the week at Eastern Nazarene on Saturday.

For the week, she averaged 21.3 points and 13.0 rebounds per game and continues to average a double-double per game on the season. She is currently ranked 15th in NCAA Division III for double-doubles on the season (12), 33rd for points per game (18.1), and 37th for rebounds per game (10.6). 

The Scots take to the court on Wednesday, February 8 as they host nearby Endicott College at 6:00p.m. and follow that up with a CCC road match at Salve Regina on Saturday, February 11 at 1:00p.m.
