Senior midfielder Jordan Alexander (Portland, Maine) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for her efforts in helping the Fighting Scots pick up a trio of wins last week.

In a non-conference road duel with New England College, Alexander collected 10 points off four goals and six assists in the Scots' 21-7 win, followed that up with a seven-point effort (five goals, two assists) in a non-CCC road win over Emerson, and closed out the week with four goals and five assists in Gordon's conference-opening 15-8 home win over Nichols on Saturday.

Overall she amassed 26 points on the week and leads the team with 28 goals and 22 assists (50 points) on the season. Additionally, she leads the conference in points per game (7.14) and assists per game (3.14), and ranks second in goals per game (4.00).

Alexander and the rest of the Scots have a big week of conference action ahead as they travel to Western New England on Wednesday, March 28 and Endicott on Saturday, March 31. The Scots are currently undefeated at 7-0 overall, 1-0 in the CCC.
