Freshman attacker Mio Sison (Warren, Mich.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week as well as Gordon's Athlete of the Week for his efforts in helping lift the Fighting Scots to a pair of conference wins last week.

Hosting Curry on Tuesday, Sison recorded three goals and dished one assist while grabbing three ground balls in the Scots' 12-8 win, and followed that up on Thursday with a four-goal, two-assist performance in Gordon's 9-4 home victory over Wentworth.

Overall on the year he has tallied 17 points (12 goals, five assists) and holds a .839 shots-on-goal percentage in just six games played.

Sison and the rest of the Scots look to extend their winning streak to four as they travel to take on the University of New England in CCC action on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00p.m.
