Joshua Backert is Gordon’s Athlete of the Week! Backert kicked off his indoor season this past weekend at the BU Invitational where he broke two Gordon records. First, the junior rewrote the books in the 400m run after finishing with a time of 50.36 to book a fifth place finish. Next, Backert smashed his second record of the day in the 200m dash after crossing the finish in 23.16 to earn 12th place at the Invitational. Congrats Josh!
