Senior women's soccer captain
Caitlin Nedde (Colchester, Vt.) has been selected Gordon's Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 3.
In the Scots' 2012 opener on August 31 against the University of Southern Maine, Nedde tallied what proved to be the game-winner off a
Karina Scavo assist (Sr./Mount Sinai, N.Y.) in an eventual 2-0 win over the guest Huskies. She then followed that up with another game-winning goal on the road at WPI on Sept. 4, netting a corner from teammate
Kendra Woudenberg (Jr./Whitinsville, Mass.) to help lift Gordon to the 2-0 victory.
Nedde was the team's leading scorer in 2011 and earned a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Second Team nod for her efforts.
