Gordon junior forward Andrew Vandervoort (Memphis, Tenn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 24.

Vandervoort had a breakout performance for the Fighting Scots in a CCC duel with the University of New England on Saturday, Sept. 22, netting an impressive four goals including the game-winner to lead Gordon to a commanding 5-0 win over the host Nor'easters.

The reigning CCC Offensive Player of the Year has tallied 12 points on six goals so far this season.

Vandervoort and the rest of the Scots look to carry their winning momentum forward as they travel to face non-conference Bridgewater State on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and host CCC rival Nichols College on Saturday, Sept. 29.
