Women's soccer forward Taylor McSherry (Jr./Wolcott, Conn.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week for her standout contributions to the Fighting Scots' pair of wins last week.

McSherry led the Scots to a 7-0 win over non-conference Plymouth State with a three-goal performance in game one of the week and chipped in an assist in Saturday's 3-2 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over Roger Williams University.

Overall on the season she has recorded seven goals and one assist (15 points).

With the win over RWU on Saturday, the Scots improved to 12-2 overall, 5-1 in the CCC and clinched sole possession of first place in league standings.
