Senior forward Caitlin Nedde (Colchester, Vt.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for her continued dominance on the pitch for the Fighting Scots last week.

Nedde, a 2012 All-CCC First Team selection, recorded the game-winner in double overtime of Gordon's 2-1 regular season CCC win over Western New England on Wednesday. Then in a CCC quarterfinal matchup with WNE on Saturday, she once again made her offensive presence known, netting each of the Scots' goals in a 3-1 victory over the Golden Bears to help her team advance to the next round. 

With the four goals she brings her season total to 19, nine of which have been game-winners. She is currently ranked second in NCAA DIII for game-winning goals.

The Scots will vie for their first appearance in a CCC title game since 2005 on Thursday, Nov. 1 when they host Eastern Nazarene in the conference semifinals. Game time is set for 2 p.m. on the Quad.
