Gordon College freshman midfielder Jessica Castelline (Concord, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for her efforts in helping lead the Fighting Scots to a pair of wins last week.

In a 2-0 week for the Scots, Castelline netted 10 goals and chipped in two assists for 12 points to improve her team to 5-1 overall on the season. She scored four goals and dished one assist in a 16-5 win over non-conference New England College on March 25, and went on to earn seven points on six goals (including the game-winner) and one assist in a 14-13 win over conference opponent Western New England on March 27.

On the week, Castelline shot 10-for-10 for a perfect shots-on-goal percentage.
