Gordon Women's Lacrosse junior Stephanie Fitzgerald (Groveland, Mass.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after garnering Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Second Team honors at the close of the season.

Earning an Honorable Mention nod in 2012, Fitzgerald was selected to the All-CCC Second Team this season after leading her team as captain to one of the finest finishes in program history. The junior midfielder eclipsed Gordon's all-time draw control record with 75 on the season, making her sixth in the CCC and bringing her career total to 288.

In addition to leading Gordon in draws, she was also first on the team in game-winning goals (4), second in ground balls (33), and third in points with 48 (32 goals, 16 assists).
