Gordon Baseball freshman Eric Rinaldi (Torrington, Conn.) has been named Gordon's Athlete of the Week after garnering Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Honorable Mention honors at the close of the season.

One of three rookies to earn postseason accolades for Gordon, Rinaldi earned the Honorable Mention selection after posting the third-highest batting average (.322), slugging percentage (.415), and on base percentage (.394) of all Scots. In 36 games-started he tallied a total of 38 hits, nine of which were doubles, 17 RBIs, 49 total bases, and six stolen bases.

From his post in the outfield, RInaldi committed just one error to go with 63 putouts and four assists for a .985 fielding percentage.
