MEET RESULTS

Roger Williams University once again proved their dominance in their own lanes at the Snowball Invitational, sweeping both days of action while the Fighting Scots came in fourth on the men's side and fifth on the women's to close out the weekend's competition.

Day two of action was highlighted by Gordon freshman Andrew Lewis (Fr./Mystic, Conn.), who broke the school record in the 1650 free with a 19:07.24 result.

Cameron Schofield (Fr./Middleboro, Mass.) also showed well with a first place finish in the 100 back (1:00.46) and fourth overall finish in the 100 fly (1:00.00), while teammate Joshua Florez (Fr./West Hartford, Conn.) came in just behind the top finisher in the 200 breast with a 2:22.31. Additionally, the relay team of Austin Drukker (So./Bedford, N.H.), Florez, Brett Johnson (So./Easton, Mass.), and Schofield recorded second in the 200 medley with a 1:49.23 time.

For the women, Emily David (Fr./North Kingston, R.I.) continued to stand out for the Scots, out-stroking the field in the 100 back at 1:04.98 and earning second in the 200 back at 2:22.61. Teammate Katherine Zablocki (So./Walnut Creek, Calif.) nearly took top honors in the 100 breast, coming in less than one second behind event winner Kristen Grandonico of Roger Williams to take second out of 16.

David and Zablocki also teamed up with Nicole St. Martin (Fr./Westport, Mass.) and Julianne Kirkpatrick (So./Rochester, N.Y.) to finish third in the 200 medley relay (2:02.91).

The Scots will return to the Bennett Athletic Center to host Bridgewater State on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 4p.m.
