Lasell College's Danielle Auntencio (So./Montville, Conn.) recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the floor to lead the Lasers to a 65-41 win over the visiting Fighting Scots in non-conference women's basketball action tonight. With the win Lasell improves to 4-5 overall while the Scots drop to 2-5 on the season.

Junior guard Skylar Bareford (Stonington, Conn.) led all Scots with 17 points on the night, while sophomore forward Brooke Kratche (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) notched an 11-point, 16-rebound double-double in the effort.

The Lasers forced 17 turnovers and shot 47 percent to the Scots' 30 on the night, utilizing a 26-0 first half run to establish a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the way.

Freshman guard Molly Lauver (Cambridge, N.Y.) contributed 10 points and six boards to the win while freshman forward Ginelle Cola (Lowell, Mass.) also chipped in 10 points.

The Lasers break from competition until Jan. 3 when they host Plymouth State at 5:30p.m. Gordon hosts Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Wentworth Institute of Technology on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1p.m.
