Scots Take On Division II Rollins In Winter Park


MEET RESULTS

On the road in Winter Park, Fla. for their winter training trip, the Fighting Scots men and women were bested by a strong Tars squad (120-44 and 122-48, respectively) but posted several team and individual bests to kickoff the new year.

For the women, Katherine Zablocki (So./Walnut Creek, Calif.) turned in a 1:17.60 to best the field in the 100 breast, while teammate Sarah Salcone (So./Newton, N.J.) came in second at 1:22.51. The relay team of Nicole St. Martin (Fr./Westport, Mass.), Zablocki, Julianne Kirkpatrick (So./Rochester, N.Y.), and Emily David (Fr./North Kingston, R.I.) also had a strong day in the water, claiming a top finish in the 200 free with a 1:54.42 result.

For the men, Josh Florez (Fr./West Hartford, Conn.) took top honors in the 100 breast at 1:06.58 and later teamed with Austin Drukker (So./Bedford, N.H.), Andrew Lewis (Fr./Mystic, Conn.), and Cameron Schofield (Fr./Middleboro, Mass.) to outpace the competition in the 200 free at 1:43.63.

The Scots return home to host non-conference Babson on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m. in the Bennett Athletic Center.
