SAAC Partners with Acord and Salvation Army for Food Drive

From November 18–20 the Gordon College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) ran a food drive to support two local community organizations, the Acord Food Pantry in South Hamilton and the Salvation Army in Beverly. Led by Lindsey Congdon, a sophomore on the women's lacrosse team, and Lauren Wolfinger, Gordon Athletics' SAAC advisor, collection bins were placed in each residence hall as well as other main buildings around campus to encourage participation from the entire Gordon community. Over the three days of the drive, 265 cans and food items were brought in and divided evenly between Acord and Salvation Army, providing 95 pounds of food and 114 meals at Acord alone.
