HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.—Gordon Women's Tennis finished off a 2-2 spring break trip on Friday with a 9-0 win over Greenville. The Fighting Scots finished off the trip strongly after dropping a 5-4 match to Webster on Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, Webster took a 2-1 lead after doubles with only
Haley Bean (Trumbull, Conn.) and Gabby Brucker (Eleva, Wisc.) coming through with the victory at the second flight, 8-2.

The Scots and Gorloks split singles' results right down the middle with Gordon taking the two, three and four spots. Bean and Brucker were unbeaten on the day, with three of Gordon's four points being attributed to them.
Kaelyn Hall (Sugar Land, Texas) also claimed a victory at second singles 6-1, 6-3.

On Friday, Gordon dominated the results from beginning to end.
Justine Hanson (Meadow Vista, Calif.) and Hall combined to win 8-4 at the top doubles flight, while Brucker and Bean continued their strong play with an 8-0 result.
Liann Van Volkinburg (Chillicothe, Ohio) and
Emily Ontiveros (Sylmar, Calif.) completed the doubles sweep with an 8-5 win.

The Fighting Scots won all six singles matches without dropping a set. Van Volkinburg was the top result getter with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the sixth flight.

Gordon earned its 10
th triumph of the season, marking the fourth consecutive season the Scots have achieved the mark under head coach
Peter Amadon.

The Scots (10-8) close out the season with matches at Franklin Pierce on April 3
rd before a home match against Mount Holyoke on the 13
th.
