Box Score WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon's women's tennis team hosted Eastern Nazarene for its Homecoming and Senior Night match and came away with a 6-3 victory.

The Fighting Scots (6-3, 5-2 CCC) went 4-2 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles play against the Lions (5-4, 3-4 CCC).

In singles competition, Sharon Biondi defeated Justine Hanson 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 1, Katherine Jeffreys defeated Emily Ruttkowski 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 2, Adele Duval defeated Kaelyn Hall 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 at the No. 3, Maddie Berry defeated Lindsey Steelman 6-2, 7-5 at the No. 4, Gabrielle Brucker defeated Jordan Cressman 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 5, and Caitlin Kwok defeated Veronica Jimenez 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Hall/Berry defeated Duval/Ruttkowski 8-6 at the No. 1, Steelman/Biondi defeated Brucker/Hanson 9-7 at the No. 2, and Jeffreys/Kwok defeated Cressman/Jimenez 8-3 at the No. 3.

Gordon next travels to take on Nichols Oct. 3 at 4 p.m.
