BOSTON — Gordon traveled to play Wentworth in CCC play and held them to a 25.0 percent shooting percentage in its 68-43 win.

The Fighting Scots (4-8, 2-3 CCC) started the game with a 10-2 run in the first five minutes of action for an early eight-point lead. They stretched the lead to 15 with a 10-3 run to close out the first quarter. Gordon built the lead up to 23 points in the second quarter before the Leopards (1-11, 0-5 CCC) went on a 11-2 run to make it a 32-18 Gordon lead at halftime.

Meghan Foley led the team with 12 points and six rebounds in the first half. She also dished out three assists and recorded two steals. Kristen Smith scored five points and blocked one shot. Sarah Gibbs scored four points and grabbed seven rebounds.

The Fighting Scots stretched the lead out to 27 points in the third quarter with a 17-4 run to put the game out of reach. They built the lead up to 33 points in the fourth quarter before Wentworth cut the deficit to the final margin of 25 points. Gordon shot 50.0 percent from the field and made all seven of their free throws in the second half.

Foley finished with her second consecutive double-double as she scored 29 points and grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds. She also dished out five assists and recorded three steals. Smith tied her season-high with 10 points and five rebounds. Olivia Stark and Jess Ryan both dished out four assists while Gibbs finished with 11 rebounds.

The Fighting Scots next host Endicott in CCC action on Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m.
