Box Score LOS ANGELES — Gordon's women's tennis team traveled to play Occidental at the School Canyon Golf and Tennis Club and fell 8-1.

The Fighting Scots (6-6) went 1-5 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play against the Tigers (2-3).

In singles competition, Samantha Farrell defeated Katherine Jeffreys 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 1, Jane Wright defeated Maddie Berry 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 2, Andrea Clawson defeated Gabrielle Brucker 6-0, 6-2, at the No. 3, Caitlin Kwok defeated Alana Adelman by default after the match was stopped with the score being 1-6, 6-2, 5-5 at the No. 4, Nicole Pelletier defeated Emily Ontiveros 6-4, 2-6, 6-3, at the No. 5, and Lauren Hutkin defeated Courtney Barlotta 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Wright/Clawson defeated Jeffreys/Berry 8-4 at the No. 1, Farrell/Davis defeated Brucker/Kwok 8-3 at the No. 2, Pelletier/Hutkin defeated Ontvieros/Victoria Kaznowski 8-5 at the No. 3.
