WOMEN'S RESULTSÂ Â MEN'S RESULTS
Gordon College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled into Boston for the Suffolk Invitational hosted this afternoon in Franklin Park.
On the men's side, Sebastian Toro booked the top finish for the Fighting Scots on the day with a 28:25.2 on the 8k course, good enough for 50th in the 245-runner field.Â
Suffolk's own Matyas Csiki-Fejer recorded the best time for the men with a 26:03.7 result (5:14 pace), while Southern Maine took home the overall team win with 47 total points.
For the women, Gordon's Bridget Hill had a solid outing on the 5k trail with a 20:26.8 to finish an impressive 15th out of 202 total runners.
Once again the host Rams saw one of their own grab top individual honors as Emily Manfra bested all racers at 18:39.0, while Smith earned the team win with 40 points.
Up next for the Fighting Scots is the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships on Saturday, November 2 hosted by Roger Williams.
