Gordon College Women's Tennis traveled to Dudley, Massachusetts this afternoon in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinal matchup against the No. 1-seeded Nichols College Bison. The Bison blanked the Fighting Scots, 5-0 to advance to the CCC Final while the Scots conclude their fall season at 8-7 (4-3 CCC).

The Bison started off strong as their No. 1 duo of Amarie Settiwongse (Sr./Bangkok, Thailand) and Izzy Leonardi (Sr./North Hampton, N.H.) shutout Gordon's Anne Carsey and Madison West, 8-0. Nichols won out the remaining two doubles matches both by scores of 8-5 to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles.

Needing just two more points for the victory, Nichols' Settiwongse and Danielle Mandel (Sr./Fair Lawn, N.J.) were up for the task as Settiwongse booked a 6-0, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles before Mandel clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-1 win in No. 6 singles securing the 5-0 Bison victory.
