MEET RESULTS

Hosting the Elms College Blazers at the Bennett Center this afternoon, Gordon College Women's Swimming bested their opponents, 136-104 for their first win of the season. 

The Fighting Scots started off hot as Leanne Hallenbeck, Olivia Rose, Rachael Shek, and Sarah Hutchinson hit the wall at 2:10.77 in the 200 yard medley relay- 11 seconds ahead of the next team to finish.

Julia Trevorrow swam her way into the top spot three times, starting with the 50 yard backstroke (30.12), 100 yard backstroke (1:06.85), and the 100 yard IM (1:10.53). 

Rose booked her first of three first-place finishes as the sophomore notched a time of 37.59 in the 50 yard breaststroke before she finished with a time of 29.00 in the 50 yard freestyle, and later touching the wall at 1:21.10 in the 100 yard breaststroke.

Shek grabbed a pair of first place finishes, first in the 100 yard butterfly (1:10.04) and the 100 yard freestyle (1:00.62).

The Scots concluded the meet with a W in the 200 yard freestyle relay thanks to Shaelyn McGrath, Abby Bacon, Autumn Roberts, and Trevorrow who finished with a time of 2:01.88.

The Scots are back in the pool in one week as they host Regis College on Saturday, November 2 at 1 p.m.
