MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Men's and Women's Swimming traveled to Bridgewater State today to square off against the Bears at Bridgewater's own Dr. Mary Jo Moriarty Pool. 

In the women's 400 yard medley relay, the team of Abigail Bacon, Olivia Rose, Rachael Shek, and Janelle Maxwell was the second lane to hit the wall, notching a time of 4:45.57. Swimming in her first career 1000 yard freestyle, Bacon was impressive, earning herself a third place finish with a time of 14:02.59. Bacon also registered a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle (1:07.29). Competing in her first 400 IM,  Rose booked a time of 5:47.93. Rose later came in second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:19.66. Shek won the top spot in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:09.91 which was a full six seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Autumn Roberts made her debut in the 500 yard freestyle this afternoon, hitting the wall at 7:13.80.

Swimming in his first race of the season, Ryan Locke swam a 1:26.29 in the 100 yard breaststroke.
