MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Men's and Women's Swim Team returned to the pool this afternoon at the Bridgewater State Invitational in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. On the women's side BSU took the top spot with Norwich coming in second, Western New England in third and Gordon in fourth  place. For the men, Norwich University came in first followed by BSU, CCRI and Gordon.

Rachael Shek was the third swimmer to hit the wall after booking a time of 28.73 in the 50 yard butterfly. Olivia Rose scored a fifth place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke with her time of 1:19.81 before earning a fourth place finish in the 50 yard breaststroke with a time of 36.86. In her final meet of her collegiate career, Leanne Hallenbeck touched the wall at 1:03.95 which was good enough for fourth in the 100 yard freestyle. Additionally, Hallenbeck's time of 6:25.84 in the 500 freestyle was a career best for the senior. In the 100 yard IM, Janelle Maxwell recorded an impressive 1:14.59 time (fourth place).

For the men, Ryan Locke registered a time of 30.43 in the 50 yard freestyle for a top-ten finish and newcomer Darryl Mo competed in his first collegiate race.

The Fighting Scots are back in action on Saturday, January 11 at 12 p.m. in the Bennett Center.
