- The Scots kept fighting back, scoring 10 to UNE's 11 points in the third including a pair of Henderson three-pointers. UNE's Nelson scored seven of her team's 11 points in the frame.
- A Brooke Dyson three to open up the final quarter got the Scots within ten early. However, the home team scored 13 unanswered points to take a commanding 62-35 lead with 2:17 to go in regulation. The Nor'easters grabbed the eventual 25-point win to advance in the tournament.
