WOMEN'S RESULTS MEN'S RESULTS
Gordon College Men's and Women's Cross Country hosted the 48th Annual Pop Crowell Invitational today with the women running a 6k while the men ran an 8k. The University of New England earned a first place finish in the men's and women's race. The Fighting Scots earned a third place finish on the men's side, while the women came in second place.
Bridget Hill was the top finisher for the Scots as the sophomore raced an impressive 24:41 giving her a sixth place finish out of 86 runners.
Angie Epplett crossed the finish line at 25:52 for an 11th place finish, while
Annabel Smith came in 14th place with a time of 26:36. Rounding out the top-five finishers for the women were
Karly Smith and
Abigail Baier who secured a 22nd and 23rd place finish, respectively.
Gordon's
Evan Page was the second overall runner and first Fighting Scot to cross the finish line at the 28:11 mark.
William Hunt earned a time of 29:57 for a 13th place finish,
Cameron Abbot came in 19th place,
Sebastian Toro followed in 21st place and rounding out the top-five for the Scots was
Joseph Tibbles who placed 23rd on the day.
The Fighting Scots return to the trails on Saturday, October 5 as they travel to Keene State.
