MEET RESULTS

The Gordon College Women's Swim Team welcomed the Husson University Eagles and the Saint Joseph's College Monks today at the Bennett Center. 

The Fighting Scots relay team of Abigail Bacon, Olivia Rose, Rachael Shek, and Janelle Maxwell combined for a time of 2:06.5 in the 200 yard medley relay for a second place finish. In the 50 yard backstroke Rose was the second swimmer to hit the wall with a time of 32.90 before she again booked a second place finish but this time in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:19.88). Rose capped off the day with her third second place performance in the 100 yard IM (1:12.42). Shek dominated in the 100 yard butterfly as the sophomore took the top spot with her 1:08.76 time. Sophomore, Shek continued her stellar day with yet another top-place finish with a time of 28.69 in the 50 yard butterfly. In the final event of the day, Sarah Hutchinson, Anna Hailstone, Shaelyn McGrath, and Autumn Roberts secured a fourth-place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:51.91.

Gordon returns to the lanes on Saturday, January 25 as they travel to Colby-Sawyer College for a tri-meet against the Chargers as well as the Mariners from Maine Maritime Academy at 1 p.m.
