MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Men's and Women's Swimming hit the road traveling to New London, New Hampshire this afternoon for a tri-meet matchup against hosts Colby-Sawyer College Chargers as well as the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners. 

Janelle Maxwell scored second place in the 1000 yard freestyle as the freshman touched the wall at the 13:51.34 mark. In the 500 freestyle, Maxwell was the first swimmer to hit the wall with a time of 6:31.14 which was a full five second ahead of the second-place finisher. Additionally, teammate Autumn Roberts came in third-place in the same event, scoring a time of 7:17.21. Sophomore, Rachael Shek finished with a time of 1:10.03 in the 100 yard butterfly for a third-place finish. Rounding out the top finishers of the day was Olivia Rose, who earned herself a third-place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:22.26.

The Fighting Scots return to the Bennett Center, on Saturday, February 1, to host the University of New England Nor'easters at 12 p.m.
